T H E+R O Y A L+F A M I L Y100 years ago there were three wolves who wandered onto a deserted island, Jarvlix Teli'air, his mate Venora Sai'rana and her older sister Lilian Sai'rina. More is found about that story in History of Kilindi. Descendants of these wolves still preside in the Royal Grounds. They have formed different packs but all coexist quite happily. Everyone may play a wolf of the royal family, but they must be very literate. Royal wolves will be expected to have extremely well-rounded biographies. Descendants of Venora are rarely found in the Royal Lands.
The Royal Families are only 100% Grey Wolf. No other breed of wolf will be accepted into the family. Still, everyone is encouraged to play a royal wolf. I made this site in the hopes of having the original landowners still have their grasp over everyone.--------------------------------------------------------------------- T H E+W A S T E L A N D SThe Wastelands are not at all like the packs. Each territory has only one captain, either male or female. The wolves here are strictly focused on surviving, reverting back to the basics of any regular wolf pack. Only the captain may mate with the female/male of his/her choice in the Wastelands. The player of the female/male has no say. If they don't want their fem becoming pregnant, or their male being coerced, they'd be better off putting them somewhere else. If the leader wants, he or she can select a mate. This, however, does not stop them from mating with other wolves of their choice. The wolf who wanders into these lands gives up his freedom.
Despite all the misgivings, wolves here are fiercely loyal to their pack, and will sacrifice their lives to defend it. Due to their toughness and live to die philosophy, the Royals will not try to invade the Wastelands for any reason.

Liliandra
Land Liliandra is one of the most hospitable lands in Kilindi, which isn't really saying much. It has it's bad areas, just like the rest of the packs. Sequoia Fortress is Liliandra's biggest land feature. It is home to plenty of prey animals, as well as some predators. The trees here are thick, blocking out most of the sunlight and bouncing echos back and forth, creating a ghostly effect. In the very middle of the forest is a small clearing, abundant in pretty flowers. Light here shines down unchecked. This clearing is hallow ground to Lilian wolves, since it is here that the packs' dead are buried. It is even rumored that Lilian herself lies in this ground. The packs' birthing and sleeping dens are quite near to each other, but far enough away to make a new mother feel comfortable in her peace. They are situated in the southeast of the land, giving plenty of space between Liliandra's and Venora's border. While Lily Kuceni is located at the top of the highest hill in Liliandra, Lily Valley is set on the eastern foot of this hill. This placement wasn't coincidental; if a Venorian wolf steals onto the lands, there will always be a wolf at the dens standing guard over a mother and her pups. Liliandra's only source of water is Nilvra. It is more of a pond then anything else, and attracts all manner of animals to it.
Weather Weather in these pack lands is always on the mild side. Spring of course is the best season here and slight rain with wind happens on and off all season. Summer is very hot at the day's peak, and many wolves find the need to take shelter or go swimming at this point. Fall is just as beautiful as spring, if not more so since it is never hot. The wind chill tends to get to a high point, but never bad enough for it to be freezing. Leaves on the trees turn red, orange, and other colors significant to fall. Winter is a dry season. The lake turns to ice and must be broken through to reach the water a foot or so below. Snow flurries pass through, but the snow almost never sticks to the ground. Blizzards are exceedingly rare here.
Predators Lilian has it's share of predators as well as the wolves that reside here. Several prey animals that live here will actively chase wolves and attempt to maim or kill them, so discretion is a must when dealing with the larger ones. Black bears and even an occasional grizzly bear are found all over the land, so diligence is key. Bald eagles and other birds of prey can be found nesting in the forest. Foxes and coyotes also have the chance of being spotted here as they are very adaptable. Fish and various species of duck are located in Nilvra. Since wolves and bears are both dominant in the lands, they have first drink. When it comes to each other, a single bear will win over a single wolf. It takes three or more wolves to fend off a lone bear.
Prey Lilian wolves are particularly lucky in their wide choice of prey animals. They have hills, clearings, and a forest, so these wolves have their choice of differing meat. The hills and clearings have a bounding population of rabbits, snowshoe hares, squirrels, chipmunks, mice, and prairie dogs. The forest has all of these creatures as well as some species of deer; such as White-tailed deer, Moose, Elk, and the Red deer.

Venora
Land Venorian land resembles that of a far northern area, even though it is more southern. Likalt is the meadow, and it takes up the whole center of Venora's territory. It is overgrown with tall grass, making passing through this landmark a nuisance and a danger, as you cannot see what's ahead, only above. As a result, young pups are always cautioned to stay away from this area. The breeding dens are perfectly placed at the northern edge of a lake which is called Danau. The regular sleeping dens are only steps away. Danau is possibly the biggest water mass in Kilindi, besides the western swamp. The few animals living here keep it from getting full of algae, although the banks are often covered in the stuff. A few sparse trees grow in Venora, especially along the Danau banks. Cattails are common along the banks. The remainder of Venora; land mass not covered by Danau or Likalt, is all meadow, the perfect place for young pups to play and practice skills in peace.
Weather Spring here is at first chilly, but slowly becomes warmer and warmer. in the beginning, snow flurries are an everyday occurrence. As the sun gets closer to the earth, everything starts to melt, causing the ground to take on a mushy, sludgy feeling. Ice cracking in Danau is heard throughout the land. Summer builds up in heat until it is supernaturally boiling. Danau is now free of ice, and is a amazing relief in the dead of the day. Droughts often happen in the summer since there is little or no rain, but the lake never dries up. However, it does become much smaller and battles for water can turn deadly. Autumn does bring some rain, more and more as the season progresses. This brings much relief to all walks of life, and moral once again soars. Winter arrives suddenly, one day the weather is nice, the next its suddenly cold and very windy. The wind chill here is very high, and often causes dryness of the mouth. It snows often, and even blizzards can be experienced. Since Danau is completely frozen through at this point, animals have to eat snow to get the liquids they need. For once, one can travel through Likalt and see clearly, since all the grasses are long dead.
Predators There aren't many predators that can survive the harsh seasons, so there are only a few. Besides the wolves, owls and other birds of prey can be seen nesting in Venora's few trees. There are also white foxes, snow weasels, and some coyotes.
Prey Prey animals here are more adapted toward the cold seasons then the warm ones, since the cold seems to last longer and be a lot harsher. The hoofed prey animals are musk oxen, white-tailed deer, and an occasional moose. But moose are very rare since they like to stay in wooded areas. They would have to be lost to come here. Snow hares and a few birds are also prey. In the lake there aren't a lot of fish, since they would die every winter, but there a alot of toads and frogs, good hunting for the young pup.

Tireli
Land Tireli is the second smallest land mass in Kilindi. It is situated farther north then any other packs, and the weather can be extremely harsh. Part of its southern border touches Jarvlix, and fights often ignite between the two packs due to the proximity. Wolves accidentally pass over the border without realizing. Jarvlix's swamp extends into Tireli, taking up the south-western corner. It goes by the same name here as well. Tireli's only other land feature, and most unusual one in Kilindi, is its mountain, Kalnu. It towers over the land, and is visible all throughout the wasteland, even parts of Jarvlix. It is in the southern part, only a couple miles from Narais. Kalnu is unique because no one knows how exactly it got here; there are no volcanoes around and never any earthquakes. Tireli wolves actually take pride in the uniqueness, however. Tireli's birthing and sleeping dens are located in the center of the territory, far enough away from Narais so that no pup will wander in and get into trouble. The only water source, minus various puddles scattered throughout, is the swamp. These wasteland wolves have grown used to the retched water.
Weather Since Tireli is located more north then the other packs, it is much more frigid here. Ice seems to coat the ground throughout the year, although some does melt and create good drinking holes. Spring is cold, and it doesn't let up until the end. However, even though it is so cold, Narais never turns to ice because of the constant movement by animals inside it. Summer never gets past 70 degrees. The sun does get extremely bright though, and the fact that the light bounces off the ice-hard ground doesn't help. Wolves can go blind staring at the ice. It almost never rains in Tireli, due to the mountain Kalnu pushing all the clouds back, but when it does, it pours, usually lasting a couple hours. There is virtually no wind here. Also, even in the summer, nights can become unnaturally cold, below 30 degrees. Fall is cast off as a split season. In the beginning, it act more like summer, but the weather quickly slides downhill and turns freezing by winter. There are virtually no snowstorms, but all of the ground turn super hard. Wolves must stick together to stay warm. There is no digging right now.
Predators Black bears and even some grizzlies are seen in the summer, but these are few and far between. Then there are the normal hunters, such as mink, weasels, coyotes, foxes, owls and hawks. In Niris, alligators, caimans, and poisonous snakes are a hazard.
Prey Hoofed animals pass through in the spring and summer months, and include musk oxen, white-tailed deer and red deer, and some moose. There is also the normal smaller prey: rabbits, mice, squirrels, raccoons, porcupines, grouse, small birds, and even some wild turkeys. There are also a number of prey in the swamp if one is brave enough; like frogs and toads, salamanders, fish, snakes, and even alligators.
