As they grew older they went their separate ways eventually meeting again in the land of Caelum. The two re-kindled their bond and Nyka found himself a godfather to Nisca's new litter and planned to join Nisca's clan to help his brother raise them. Unfortunately the eve he planned to arrive disaster struck. Nisca had been getting sicker and sicker until it escalated in violence. Nisca had killed his own son and was about to start on the rest when Nyka charged in to save them...resulting in the death of his brother. Desperate to get away and to atone for the murder Nyka has worked to put as much distance as possible between him and the past and wishes to start in a new land, a land that will challenge...and perhaps...punish him.

::Example Post:: ((old, old post from WolfClan, figured it be more interesting than something you've already read. XD))
The warm Autumn breeze ruffled his dark fur before shaking the leaves in a ominous clatter. It was unusually warm and Santiago had taken shelter in the shadow of a large tree that towered above him. He was a cold weather wolf. Always had been. Clouds drifted lazily across the sky, bathed in golden light. It seemed far to calm here. Yawning he got back onto his feet fully alert. It was not wise to be resting this close to his destination. Shadowclan. Santiago had heard many rumors about this clan from various loners he came across and something about it seemed to call to him. So what if the wolves here were rumored to be bloodthirsty monsters? Could rumors always be believed? He knew that this was where he belonged.
Once again the autumn breeze wrapped itself around him and he closed his startling golden eyes to feel the caress of the wind as it pulled at him, beckoning him to continue his journey. Santiago began to walk calmly, gracefully across the brown grass. A canopy of orange and brown leaves hovered above him and he began to wonder how long it would be before winter set in again. The evening sun was casting long shadows from the large trees and boulders causing Santiago to tense in anticipation. Wolves could be hiding anywhere in the long shadows. He wondered if he shouldn't have just waited at the Lone Terra but something about this places called to him. The question now was how far should he go before he howled for the alpha? To far away and the alpha might think him a coward. To close and he could be labeled as a traitor and killed before he could explain himself. He was a fair warrior but if he was outnumbered there was little he could do.
Santiago slowed his pace to a stop and listened. His ears swiveled around his head and he cautiously continued onward aware of the sounds around him. The border. He'd reached it after all the hell he'd gone through he'd finally reached the border to Shadowclan. Now, he'd make his move. Santiago threw back his head and howled for the alpha to come and meet him. In the meantime Santiago calmed himself down and eased into his usually calm, sly demeanor. He didn't want the alpha to see him as nervous or cowardly. Now all that remained was the wait and whatever came afterwards.
